First Images of Crysis 3 Released

The release date for ‘Crysis 3′ has been set for the spring of 2013 but some details about the game are already being release including some of its first images. EA and Crytek had recently unveiled images and details of Major Laurence ‘Prophet’ Barnes’ next mission in New York. The sequel has him returning to a city that was very different from the last time he saw it to have his revenge on the Cell Corporation but he will have to go through Ceph Forces.

New York City is different and the setting of the stage of the sequel will be in one of the corporation’s Nanodomes; the New York City Liberty Dome that has about seven districts within it. This is where players will go through searching for bigwigs from Cell Corporation and Ceph aliens who had encased the whole city in a dome under false pretenses.

Part of the arsenal of the players will include alien technology. The game is said to be an exciting mix of sandbox gameplay, advanced combat and high tech weaponry that players will be excited to get their hands on. The themes are quite stunning which are all creations of their CryENGINE technology. The themes are visually captivating and the makers have announced both a regular version and a special Hunter Edition will be shipped at the same time. The Hunter Edition will have early multiplayer access to some of the game’s weaponry including the bow, attachments and special nanosuits.
